Tendency To Wander: Cabo da Roca & Óbidos, PortugalWhile the trail you’ll be walking on is varied, it’s also extremely easy. The routes are good, and while there are some sandy parts and rough trails, they will not be difficult to navigate. As a consequence, this hike is ideal for families and adults of all skill levels.

Take Hiking sticks, comfortable clothing and footwear, as well as water, energy bars, a hat and sunscreen.

Trail: Cabo da Roca
Type of Hike: Point-to-point
Distance: 10.8 km
Difficulty: Moderate
Time Needed: 5 hours (with lots of breaks and lunch)

If you want to walk for a shorter distance, we propose the section between Cabo da Roca and Praia da Adraga. Praia do Adraga is an excellent place to end your hike because it has a restaurant right on the beach. Second, there is a road that leads directly to Praia da Adraga. So you may take a cab or Uber (which is likely to be less expensive) back to Cabo da Roca or Cascais.
